We developed and manufactured BS-1200 (SBC - HP3) Shoulder Ballast Cleaning Machine—heavy-duty railway maintenance equipment with high efficient through technology import from Loram Maintennace of Way,Inc.in the United States. This machine is used for ballast cleaning operation on shoulders of the track. The total length is 45 meters, and the maximum productivity is 1200 m3/h. It can complete automatically the whole process of ballast excavating, ballast conveying, screening, distributing and regulating. Through reducing the ballast contamination rate of ballast of the track shoulder, it can enhance drainage capacity of the ballast bed and decrease the problems, such as ballast bed hardening, mud-pumping and so on, and prolong the overhaul period of the railway. This machine,which has high work efficiency, multiple function, a high degree of integration, reasonable structure, as well as reliable performance, represents the highest level of the similar products in the world.

Screening efficiency: The cleaned ballast returned to the shoulders shall not exceed 3% fines when operating at the rated capacity of 1200m3/h with initial ballast bed contamination less than 30% fines. And the usable ballast contained in the waste shall not exceed 5% in weight.
Ballast Regulation: The machine is able to regulate the reclaimed clean ballast. The maximum operation width on each side of the track shall be not less than 3.0m (from centerline of track)
